You might have that backward, if you're getting to the point of threats than why would you want to expose your son & wife to your untreated self. You should seek more treatment. The odds are against your son & wife already. Boone Cutler (thread & video below) quoted a stat that up to 90% of marriages end in divorce or separation within 3-5 years of combat trauma wounded returning from a tour of duty. Most folks on this forum post similar stories to justify the concern. You son & spouse are going to be collateral damage of your combat wounds if you don't seek proper treatment, that is a fact. You have to acknowledge that and get out in front it. Sounds like they're already exposed to secondary PTSD. What is worse for them, being away from you when you are in bad condition or being around you after treatment in better condition?I'm quite afraid of being put in Gulf Oaks or a long term facility. We just got my son back and I don't want to be away from him and my wife. I'm pretty sure they'll lock me up.
