Curt, I'll refer you to Anthony's advice, the person who created the forum. The "Ignore" function is an option as you try to navigate your way around the forum:

I'm quite afraid of being put in Gulf Oaks or a long term facility. We just got my son back and I don't want to be away from him and my wife. I'm pretty sure they'll lock me up.
You might have that backward, if you're getting to the point of threats than why would you want to expose your son & wife to your untreated self. You should seek more treatment. The odds are against your son & wife already. Boone Cutler (thread & video below) quoted a stat that up to 90% of marriages end in divorce or separation within 3-5 years of combat trauma wounded returning from a tour of duty. Most folks on this forum post similar stories to justify the concern. You son & spouse are going to be collateral damage of your combat wounds if you don't seek proper treatment, that is a fact. You have to acknowledge that and get out in front it. Sounds like they're already exposed to secondary PTSD. What is worse for them, being away from you when you are in bad condition or being around you after treatment in better condition?

You might be proactive with your therapist and looking into in-patient & out-patient options to gain better coping skills instead of waiting to crash and then be put in the place you want to avoid as well as pushing away your family.

Yeah buddy, try speaking English next time. I don't understand half of the expressions you use.

Yeah though seriously, language criticism, low blow.
Or like, your understanding, your problem.
Dutchie IS speaking English.

This kind of pisses me off, not to all it's first, or heck even second, language. Not to all it's language for feels and all that sensitive shit people open up here. It ain't come up to mind all of the time. Brains are more or less f*cked, PTSD does it and there's other head injuries possible and shit.

Let's just uh. -Not- go there.

This is what moderating looks like... I start closing anything that remotely takes an argumentative turn. Either use the ignore function, AND don't choose to take them off ignore OR override the feature and view their content, OR, all involved, grow the f*ck up, take responsibility for your own words and choose when, and when not, to respond.

Don't bully, don't intimidate, and don't think you are automatically trusted as a legitimate combat veteran just because you talk the talk. Anonymity is a bitch at times.
