I have major problems with driving any long distances at the moment. So know what a huge deal that was for you.

I have to say, I hate my satnav sometimes. It was supposed to help me, but the little bastard keeps trying to direct me up major freeways or to busy right turn junctions and then when I ignore it, it keeps telling me to "perform a U-turn when possible" But it is better than just using the map. Can't read those to save my life!

I bet those castles in Wales were wonderful. We stayed round St Davids once. I loved it there and the cathedral. Nothing like Wales on a sunny day. Just so beautiful.

Next trip Cornwall??? :)

Thanks Lizio. My Sat Nav doesn't tell me to do a U turn , it recalculates the rout. The only thing is it takes me on some weird roads when I like to keep to the more direct rout. And she never shuts up! I swear I'll change her voice to Ozzy Osbourne! :D

I've been to Cornwall 3 times and even visited the Scilly Isles for the day. If anyone wants to look at photos of castles and ancient buildings then check out my FB page.

Thanks NutritionNerd. I did try to go back to nursing recently. I was a senior nurse and good at what I did. I applied for the retraining course but was told I couldn't retrain as I hadn't studied at Higher Ed (University) level in the past 5 years! :cry: Well, if they think having a degree makes a good nurse they are mistaken. The nursing course at the moment isn't even a degree even if it is done at Uni. They do all practical and written assessments and no exams.

My hubby works as an ambulance driver for the NHS and sees what goes on every day. He says it would just get to me because I care to deeply, don't cut corners and would end up in trouble for speaking out against wrongdoing. And with a 'mental health' problem I doubt they'd have me back.

Onwards and upwards, I just have to find the path that is right for me.:unsure: :cautious: :eek:

Your husband's job is stressful - I used to be responsible for 911 computer systems - that whole area is just very stressful. Like I said things have a funny way of coming right over time. Good Luck.
