I thought Vistaril sounded familiar, had to think on it, but I was given Vistaril as a supplement medication to my paid meds after shoulder surgery. I was told it makes the meds "work better". I read up on it and gathered that it is an antihistamine that opens capillaries and lets the pain meds work better.
