What Did You Eat And Drink Last?

A vegan Italian sausage-like thingy on a romaine lettuce boat with spicy brown mustard and red onion, mediocre corn on the cob, and the last of the banana bread/icing experiment...man, that icing is way too good for my own good. lol

First corn of the season is cooooooooooming :hungry:

Okay it’s like maybe 3” tall right now. :whistling:

But summer corn is on its way :D

Harissa Paste on fresh grilled corn is amazing, but winter months grilled polenta + harissa = one of those bites of sunshine. I’m always torn what kind of legume side to make the complete protein in the summer, but grilled polenta & black bean soup in winter is just happiness.

The fish pie was bought actually - salmon, cod n prawns in a cheesy sauce with Mash n crunchy bits on top.

We don’t have smoked cod over here, so I’ve been toying around with the idea of using smoked salmon (cold smoked nova / not the hard hot smoked stuff) & fresh cod. Think it would work, or just be ...weird... ? I haven’t had fish pie in yeeeears. <drool>
 
It didn't have smoked cod, I've never had smoked cod. Smoked haddock I've had. In a fish pie too. Never had nova lox but I would imagine it' nice in a fish pie.
 
2x non crispy findus crispy chicken. Even after putting em back in the oven for longer still not crispy. Carrots n runner beans. Kechup.
Seem to be in a can't be arsed mood yesterday n today...
 
Well, I just had a wisdom tooth pulled 2 hours ago or so, so I have not been able to eat or drink anything. Now that the bleeding has stopped, I can drink cold beverages for the next 22 hours. So, I just had some cranberry/ blueberry juice. MAN! That tasted great.

(Aaaaargh. I was doing freaking awesome at eating not just once a day, but even twice a day. Need to get back on that. Slipped for a few days. Working back to 5-6 times a day. Even if that just seems like an impossible task.)
 
I had noticed you were eating twice @Friday :-)

For me the challenge is only eating 3 times a day. I'l get there in a sputtering on and off unglamorous sorta way.
