What Did You Eat And Drink Last?

Sounds amazing @The Albatross Care to share the recipe? I'm planning on getting tuna sometime soon and only ever sear it.

Bowl of fantastic fibre aka All Bran & unsweetened almond milk
Pukka 3 ginger tea (gorgeous) :coffee:

Tuna (canned, though fresh flaked is better), rinsed/drained and patted dry
Thai red pepper (seeded for those who don't like heat or not for those who do) minced fine
1/2 - 1 teaspoon ginger (peeled, sliced, stripped, finely diced/minced or juiced... not the dry herb)
Celery finely minced
Liquid smoke (we like hickory)
1 cup fresh herbs... (dill/basil/cilantro/parsley) stems and all finely chopped
Lemon juice and lemon zest
Lemon Pepper
Low fat Mayo and or 1/2 low fat Mayo and Low fat sour cream
1 Tablespoon of Creole Mustard or spicy/Dijon mustard

Everything is to taste and consistency... I also can add at whim, water chestnuts, red/yellow peppers, or seeded cucumber for crunch... all diced.

LOL... You got that right friend - up north and what do you know about makin' grits? I sent a former member and her nursing team a cookbook full of grit recipes cuz she was sick of oatmeal and the cream of's (rice & wheat). Thanks for the smile.

Here's the book, probably should get one myself: Dead Link Removed

Rule number one: No self respecting southerner uses instant grits.
Rule number two: Grits go with everything.
Rule number three: Lumpy grits? Start all over son. (Bless your heart.)

Oh thanks I am using yellow corn grits or polenta as well. I will check out the book though I eat them a lot since I can't tolerate any other grain but corn. : ) I was in MO in May this year and I really felt 'down south.' It was great. Had some grits and some fried alligator lol.
