What Did You Eat And Drink Last?

Last night, made a soup with carrots, carrot greens, ginger root, garlic cloves, fresh turmeric root, dulse flakes, sea salt, and kale...blended with the stick blender....and steamed a big pot of green peas, also blended with the stick blender with some added home made vegan butter, sea salt, black pepper, and nutritional yeast. Currently sipping on lemon water and waiting for my ginger/turmeric/stinging nettle infusion to cool off.
 
Last night I whipped up some homemade chickpea tofu and made a scramble using the tofu, onions, garlic, red bell pepper, diced potatoes, chopped spinach, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and Indian black salt (has an egg-like flavor) and served it with some flat-bread I made by blending celery, swiss chard, hemp hearts, flax meal, rosemary, sage, thyme, red onion, baking powder, and chickpea flour. I learned I definitely prefer the firmer tofu for a scramble rather than the softer version, but either way, it's delicious. Will reserve the softer version for soups and casseroles in the future.
