@Snowflake Suicide is a difficult discussion to talk about for people that don't suffer from depression or other mental health issues. It's a taboo that has gone on for hundreds of yrs.

I think that by you reaching out on this thread, that you might be having some serious SI, and are struggling, but I don't think you're ready to kill yourself. EMDR can be a bitch from what I've heard, but what you're going through isn't the end of everything, With some good grounding skills, some personal self care, giving yourself permission to feel what you are feeling and with the help of your T, things will be ok.... You've been through a lot in the past year, and self kindness is needed right now......

@She Cat I saw my therapist today and we both agree I need a support system and I also need to learn to identify and express my feelings. Instead of immediately thinking of suicide and expressing that (which puts up a wall for help) I need to learn to label and express my feelings. For instance "I'm overwhelmed I need support."
