Relationship Worst Thing Ever Said To A Loved One.

I have said I feel emotionally imprisoned. Which turned out to be correct during later marriage counseling. My wife can be very cruel with words but has improved 90% after past counseling.

That is a desire to change what came form her own tortured childhood abuse. Now she knows when she is out of line and does something to stop it at once.

We are both just imperfect people working through our pasts together at this point.

I have thought about marriage counseling. Bu I really do not think he would go for it. Sometimes he does not even realize what he is saying. A couple of times I have told him what he said and he swears he would never say that to me. Now, he knows what really hurts me, and when I am upset with him not helping me- he throws those words at me. I feel like I have tried everything. I tried the pretend everything is okay, make a great dinner, clean without nagging bit, and he just walked all over me. I fold his laundry but he does not even care enough to put it away. I feel like I am the only one trying and working here. I also tried the opposite, not doing his laundry and just letting his pile up, but I dont want us to be pigs either. I feel like I am trapped and cant win.
