Hi,
I was told a few days ago from my wizard that he wants to run a medical board on me for my PTSD. He want and says I will be medically retired. But I know that is dependent on the board. Anyone with any experience in this have any insight? I am about 5 months from my EAS. I know I will be a med hold but what does medical retirement look like for PTSD? Will I be barred from buying firearms or owning them? I am an avid competitive shooter and I fought for the second amendment, the idea that I cannot own one is appalling. My fear is that there will be adverse things like the example I just mentioned.
Thanks,

PS sorry if the gun issue seems petty or asinine to some members.
