Purely informational, to help some understand some of the blocks I've put in place at the server to stop all the nasty rubbish from accessing the site, and really just skewing actual humans online stats. I had to pull the temp disable the blocking scripts to do some tests, and we ended up with this many online and the logs showed just rubbish traffic:

When I reenabled the scripts to block excessively all the rubbish bots and nonsense traffic we tolerated before, but since stepping it up further to really get down to just actual human device traffic, we get:

This, IMO, should help members understand the real humans online at a given time, whilst adding an additional layer we didn't use before, relying on other methods after the fact, where as now I'm flipping it to just be super aggressive from anyone but actual human behaviour - 95% accuracy - being at the site. There is always a small percentage of wriggle room with most things in life, especially online. But getting human detection to this level... shit, I'm impressed with it.

Hi I'm curious about the "share" links at the bottom of the pages? It seems somewhat inappropriate? I don't remember them from before. I don't want to write something about my CSA and have a spaz and click "share this on FB." This stuff is really private. I'd be happy not to see those.

They have always been on every single page. The design has changed, nothing else.

Where do you take responsibility for your actions vs shifting them onto a website like this, as though we have done something wrong?

You have to make two clicks to share any content to any of your social network profiles. The first could be an accident, the second, the confirmation, is intentional, and lay squarely at the users feet.

I'm actually a little insulted by your comment. You are literally trying to shift your mood, emotion, your actions, onto me, us, this website, as though we are responsible for you during a "spaz" as you state. A little -- just WOW! ?

Update

10 more total features to be added. Right now, the system is scanning around 50k links to then be processed by me. Doing that on the go already, so links will all start working correctly or you will see a "link removed" message where any link was dead / so outdated it was better to be wiped from the post.

I actually got more done in the past 24hrs than I thought, so its coming along nicely, towards an end in sight.

I'm doing my best to understand it tho and to keep track of all the changes.
I understand, it's a lot. I'm planning on woking on an index of the changes tomorrow.

And, don't expect to absorb it all at once. Eveything new has a learning curve.

That line is actually from Victor Frankl and there is no reference to that being his words. I understand if that is low on your priorities list.
Thanks for this @Scarlet13 - I'll make a note and follow up.

And, for eveyone's awareness: content hasn't changed, really. It's just in places where you can now see it easier :)

Any content related observations can go to the contact us link. There will be some cleaning up, and article updating, ongoing.

Greetings

Change is not a fan favorite of us ptsd'ers but it is what it is.

I'll cuss you out in the privacy of my sofa.
But I'm not going anywhere the VA is my next stop, and I'm sure that will be a fertile ground for comments....

I really, really like the look of it. For my dyslexic (etc) brain, this is much easier to read. I also like the thread labels.

I do have a question. And I'm sure it's the answer is out there, so I apologize for asking. I tried to keep up on all the update posts but I guess I struggle with similar issues to @Sophy. I've been trying to read everything but get bogged down in some of the detail and got behind and .. have obviously missed something. I also tried search and couldnt' find an answer. So, what is going on with chat?
