Were any of you able to get gas since the pipeline "crisis"? I don't own a vehicle, nor do I have a license. I take Transit. Now They called me if I'd need my usual ride to Walmart. I said yes, hoping I won't still be sick. I had a fever last night. Feeling a bit better now.

Yep.

The govt. took MASSIVE “what to do if” steps... including mobilizing the military, shipping vessels, etc... most of us should see little to no effect whatsoever, since the response was so total/fast.

Except for a price jump from corporations. But when don’t they use any excuse to Jack prices? It’s just what they do.

As long as we don’t hit UK normal prices for gas (about $8 per gallon) I’m not fussed. Even though anything over $1 per gallon grates, that speaks more to my age (I learned to drive in the 90s) than anything. Normal gas prices around here are $3-$5 per gallon.
