Back to work tomorrow

New Here
Back to work tomorrow for me. A high school principal, I do get respected by the good students and the troublemakers hate me. Plus see the rest of the staff around. It is stressful at times when a troublemaker gets sent to me written up and most of the time their parents are on my side of things. The good students, they treat me with respect whom do not get sent to me which is good. Plus I am there for the LGBTQ students, I am open about being a pre op MTF transsexual to them and they are glad I am this way including their parents. Plus I have helped out students questioning themselves with the LGBTQ issues. Usually get up around 5:30 in the morning taking a shower and getting ready. Husband gets up around 6:30 and makes it easier on us which I leave for work at that time.

Oh, so summer off, off work? Not something happened so you’re coming back after time off?

Done both, myself. Worked jobs with spaces in between, so shifting back and forth between different lives; and couldn’t work for XYZ, so returning after absence.
Summer off. I do parts delivery for an auto parts store 3 days a week in the summer

How do you find shifting back and forth “between lives”? Energising, exhilarating, peaceful, grounding… exhausting, stressful, vexing, problematic?
