What animals did you see today?

I thought of keeping shrimp but got put off by the worry of runaway population growth. I decided to keep celestial pearl danios. To my surprise, they bred too!

amano shrimp can only develop young in brackish water (same with bamboo shrimp but they are quite big and need high flow environment with lots of mature plants as they are fan feeders)

So far, just my little dog Lulu and at weirdo in the mirror.

- Medium sized dog
- Not sure which breed
- It's my last visit so most likely last time we'll cross paths
- I don't care cause she can be annoying and sniffs and licks without warning even if I pull away
- She tried to sit next to me and comfort me while I was having (mild) withdrawals so it's a lovely lady memory

Shoveler ducks and wigeons dabbling for food at a local man made wetland. The shoveler males are gorgeous!

Loafing in South Africa again. I have been trying to calm down my CNS and this is a good place for me to chill and get some quiet time.

multiple bird species at my feeders. I am only a bird feeder, and only a casual bird watcher so i dont even know the names much less their annual habits so i cant say with any authority but it sure feels early, like mist years i am saying where are they in march but this year they are here and hungry mid february.

I saw a couple of hyenas and some giraffes as well as many planes game, rinos, hippos and so forth.
