Well, it's taken twenty four years to finally get recognition fron the Armed Forces but now I do.
The last week has been a whirlwind of appointments and assessments and today I travel to start a three day intensive therapy course (The Warrior Programme) set up by the UK military for Veterans with PTSD.
Although I am keen as hell to go and learn as much as I can, I am nervous as hell. Especially as I have to catch two trains to het to the College. Nervous as I am already I have just realised that the second train I catch is the train my own two teenage daughters will be getting off on their journey home from high school. Problem, as they get off I will.be getting on. Bigger problem, My Ex has a court order against me from seeing her or the kids. Solution! I have phoned the solicitor and advised them that this.is happening. I am travelling with nother Veteran so I will at least have a witness with me at all times in case of false allegations (which is very likely)
However my anxiety index is peaking at 7 again. Heres hoping for non-confrontation hey.
I will be popping in and out of the forum over the next few days.
Take care MyPtsd family and friends.
Remember, the world has two constants..... love and :giggle:s :).
So I will leave a big box of Santa :hug:s under the stairs in the chat room for anyone who wants one whilst I am away.
