I was thinking about what ArWar was saying about the rank and belt structure and I agree. I think it's more, at least for me, about having goals. It is the one thing that being involved in any Martial Art instills in you. To be able to move forward and be able to learn more you have to accomplish certain things. That aspect is a positive and self affirming mindset, one which can be a great benefit in dealing with PTSD.
Although it never goes away we do or can learn how to deal with it as time goes on. It always seems to come at you when you least expect it. A formidable opponent. A suck ass one too! OOPS!

No clue where to find a partner. Hope to have solved that by the time you have things set up.
Effort appreciated.
Single person katas/forms/insert right word here... for fluidity & strength practice would be appreciated!
Especially for those of us whose regular partner will be a few feet shorter, &/or 12, or inanimate.
I realize testing would probably be impossible without a real training partner.
An Origami-jutsu Sensei! Bow lolWell I am a black belt in Origami. I can fold you into a swan, kick you in the arse, and your head will move up and down.
