I've never heard of "First footing" before. Is that the tradition of a particular country? I'm sorry to hear that your struggling. It must be tough for you. Have you been in contact with anyone or are you isolated?

The only person I'm really in contact with is my daughter via WhatsApp every couple of days. Well, that and my daily calls to helplines.

Not terribly. I mostly resort to them due to lack of options.

I still keep in touch with the guys back in country, now and again, but they're pretty busy.

I'm desperate to get back to the war and back to myself, but I'm stuck here until I deal with this court bollocks.

Yes, I understand. When you say that you still keep in touch with the guys back in country, do you mean Ukraine?

I hear you when you say that you just want to get back to the war, so that you can feel yourself. Am I right in saying you have to wait till February to hear about the next court stuff?

Yeah, Ukraine. We always just say we are either 'in country' or 'back in the world'. Doesn't matter which country it actually is.

The child welfare report is due in February, yeah. Then I'd like to actually spend a few weeks with my kids.

Edit: the ambulance is not coming. Too busy. That's fine by me. I have dealt with this alone thus far and will continue to do so.

I am struggling about the energy to the next steps with the Insurance Company. I am not physically well. I am overwhelmed.

This year the first feet in my house will be the ambulance crew they are sending for a welfare check.

My rapid progress toward total psychological collapse continues unabated.

Did you call the ambulance on yourself? And aren't they for emergencies... Or just physical injury?

I've heard no authorities show up unless you're a danger to yourself or others so not surprised they're "busy" ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

Personally I hate this type of control so I hide most of my feelings and even though most people can tell there's something wrong with me just by a look, they can't legally do anything.

I'm the kind of person I'm sure no one cares if I live or die so you should be grateful there are people in this forum who are reaching out to you.
