A blizzard of rain.
Same winter storm that’s grounded SAR due to whiteout conditions, just a bit more melty here at sea level.
Been a shitton of choppers out all durn day, though. Medievac, Police, SAR, 2 privately owned Phrogs... only folks not flying appear to be the news crews. No idea WTF is going on. But as it’s carrying on well past dark? My guess would be someone important -or ugly- has got themselves lost, and they’re scanning for heat sigs.

My garden looked beautiful today, it's covered in 4 inches of snow! Only signs of life are the footprints from the birds and the odd cat that pussyfooted along the top of the fence.
