The tornado did not ever come. I don't know what happened to it, but I am betting that it could not stand up against all your prayers and God's answer to them! YAY!!! Thanks to everyone who prayed.

Well, we are under ANOTHER TORNADO and STORM watch here again. We are expecting all kinds of wind, rain, sleet, fog, and SNOW in the next 48 hours. I would not mind, except that I have to go get a TB test this week. It is a requirement for my job. So. I will have to go today to get the stuff "put under my skin" and then on Wednesday I will have to have it read for no signs of TB. And if I miss the reading, I will have to start getting the test all over again!!!! Dang. I hope this storm does not mess up everything. My Dr.'s office is like 15 miles from here. Travelling all that way in a huge winter storm would be dangerous! Prayers are welcome.

So far none of the expected tornadoes or other bad weather in SW NC. We have another 36 hours to go though, before we will know for sure! So keep paying for us please and thanks for the prayers so far.

Currently, it's raining and cold. Soon to be sleet and ice, ice, baby, with several inches of snow to follow. What a nice variety of precip we get. Keeping my non-graceful warm weather loving self indoors this day, and the next few from the way the forecast sounds. Blah humbug. But man, oh, man.....the stream is gonna be making some big noise with the added flow. Hot damn.

Tornado watch is over. No tornadoes, thanks be to God. However, we are under a winter weather advisory and we are not really equipped to handle a lot of snow in this area....
