I have been watching out my window and yesterday it was rainy and 55, then it dropped to freezing and there are ice crystals on the window. They are really pretty and I can see the snow on the ground. Love that I have a wall of windows and the nurses opened the blinds for me. Also, today is the shortest day of the year so from this point on the days get longer!!! :)

I love summer, but the thought of eating a hot xmas dinner in 39 c heat on xmas day, yuk. Think we'll be all wanting to eat and leave because it will be too hot for anywhere but the pool.

It just snowed and now it's white outside in the backyard. Very beautiful. They said on the news last night/this morning that we'd get 16-19 degrees Celcius for Christmas Eve :eek: Don't like this thought too much; then again, I don't have to put the heating on as much as I have had to due to being sick and it being real cold and will save some money. Being warm and having electricity is SO expensive here.

We have a balmy 29 degrees with light snow falling. At least it looks like snow. I'm not brave enough this morning to go out onto the patio to find out. LOL

Cold with a bit of snow on the ground. My dog had to wear her jacket this morning :)
