Great day here after all those hot days.

Well it snowed heavy over night, so no dentist for hubby today.

As usual everything is at a standstill, buses not running trains late and roads blocked, even some main ones.

Only thing that has gone wrong here was minor, we lost the Sky TV signal as the snow had gathered on the dish. a few gently aimed throws with a brush shifted it and service is back to normal.

Birds have also been fed so no reason for either of us to go out again today.

Still very snowy with more forecast for tomorrow. H has made it into work. He will stop off tonight to collect my prescription and some milk.

Freezing. We get our milk delivered in a thick glass jar, overnight Sunday. It was put in a cooler like they suggested, but, at 5:30 this morning my husband went to retrieve it and found it had exploded. Glass shards and frozen milk everywhere.

Tomorrow is a wind chill advisory for our area. Means that it can get down to 25 degrees below zero just from the winds. I'm glad I'm not going anywhere tomorrow.

It is 4 degrees Fahrenheit right now.

We are in the deep freeze with you. 3 degrees Fahrenheit (-16 Celsius). I'll remember to grab my milk early in the morning. :)

Finally rain and thunder storms!

The snow is still lying, the estate roads are still icy and more snow is forecast overnight. My car is still under snow and hasn't moved since last Thursday.

The sun has been shining today and the snow started to thaw a bit.

Unfortunately it is set to freeze again tonight.
