I got a little carried away making Snowflakes...

Every time I see your photo I can't help but smile. One year when my children were little we all made paper snow flakes that we hung from the ceiling. We couldn't afford many decorations but that year we had a blizzard in the house, all snowflakes that only small children could make. Thank you for that memory. Yours are beautiful.., so intricate. :wideeyed: :)

I recently started painting again. It'd been several months since I last picked up a paintbrush. Fortunately, I still drew from time to time, so I wasn't entirely out of practice.

Just some acrylic paint on canvas. I wish I had a better camera. The colors are a bit off, and the image curves out as well. :sorry::(

Wow, how did you make them all so... intact? I could never manage to cut snowflakes without them falling apart as I unfolded the paper.

Thanks venusian and littleL, there was a lot of gentle unfolding before being flattened for a few minutes in a large, heavy book, that and the obvious don't cut all the way along the folded sides! I started with circles (drew around the bottom of my bin) folded into 6ths or 8ths too and time (and obsession!)

Wow, that is powerful but negative. It is a good insight as to how many of us feel. I am thankful I have travelled a long way since feeling so negative.

Yeah I wish I could say those negative things I heard for 30+ years could be permanently burned from memory....

Here a positive remake. It's not my favorite with all the words I would normally pick but someone ordered this one.

@Petchen Such a clever idea. The first one is from your heart which makes it special. The second is something I'd aim to read daily.

Personally, I found positive affirmations were an essential tool in my healing.
