I hope tomorrow brings joy to all those who are mothers and live in the UK and elsewhere that celebrates.

I'm a bit early but I hope the sentiment will convey.

I thought it was Mothers Day today but it is mothering day whatever that means. My daughter and I joked with the girls and told them they had to be our slaves for the day. We laughed at that. This must be a new holiday, never heard of it before.

I believe Mothering Sunday is the older term and carries a more religious connotation. At least that's how it was explained to me originally.
