Have You Ever Thought Your Physical Pain Was In Your Head ?

@jaccat do any of your other bones dislocate? Does the kneecap slide to the side of your leg? Have you tried putting it back in with your hands instead of doing the leg flick? If it is dislocating doing it that way can be dangerous, and often it gets worse as our bodies age. I just don't want to see you end up on wheels if avoidable. :hug:
 
To be honest I'm in so much pain when it happens I'm not really focused on what's going on inside. I just want to 'fix it' as soon as possible. No it's just my knees- I think I wore them out dancing (I started age 2, which is below the advised age). Nowadays I try to notice when my knees are feeling particularly dodgy and go extra careful to prevent it. Last time it happened was maybe 4 years ago, though I've felt it get that way a few times since.

When I was younger I could recover pretty much straight off. Last time it took a few days. I did go to the doctor about it once. They could find no issues and did give me some PT exercises to strengthen it. I really should go back to doing them.
