That is great that you are determined to face your phobias! I have no intention of facing mine :ninja: Put me in the room with a clown and all bets are off. :bag: I can kind of laugh at myself for the things that I'm scared of, but they aren't things that I *have* to do or have a negative effect if I don't get over them.
My brother in law was terrified of bridges, my sister works in Coronado, and I remember, he would be white knuckled screaming at all of us to not even breathe while he drove over the Coronado bridge if we had to go there for an event or function. Actually...I can only remember him being on that bridge as the driver only once. Even as a passenger though, he can't stand it, though I think he's gotten better.
He's also afraid of flying, but that is also something that he has faced and gotten a lot better with over the years...which is great because now him and my sister are able to travel together now and she doesn't have to show up to work events without him...I used to go to all of them with her when I was a teen. He still has to get anxiety meds from his doctor before he flies or has to go over bridges, but at least now he's able to do it. I know how hard it is for him, so I'm super proud of him for it.
