@Ronin - I had created an encouraging response to you, however, I failed to click on the "post" button. It seems a bit passé now so I didn't want to go ahead and post it, but I did want to reach out and offer you support. It seems from your other posts that things are going a bit better. I hope this is the case. You mentioned being able to relocate via volunteer groups. I took at a look at this on the Internet and was surprised. I don't know about this ins and outs of this process, but I'm intrigued. I can't seem to buy a job where I live and am locked into my location due to my "profession." Thank you for brining this option to my attention. I hope this might also end up providing safe passage for you to a better place.

I just now read your post so sorry I haven't commented before. You can't let this get to you. Others ideas of a go fund me is wonderful idea. Right now, US may be bad but not that bad. I would sure do what I can if you do fund me account. I live in a city where they are trying to make it a sanctuary city, so that illegals can get all the services needed without being turned in. I really don't know how it all works, getting citizenship and know that it is tougher these days...but if you decide to come here I have tons of free space that is clean and safe. Guess that is about all I got going for me at this point in time. Don't let this get you...not worth it. You are a survivor.

I've just started as a member here, but already read so much valuable stuff from you, Ronin. It made me feel very lucky, that I hit upon this community. And, yes, looking out for a task, which makes you feel thet you can contribute something good, very often is the step into a self-employed, independent work-life. Often it oesn't seem to be a "proper job" at first... Keep focussed on what you love rather than what can earn you a living right away only. Then, I firmly believe, both comes together. And though Mexico is lovely, to me, tiny Belize, just across the border is even better ;-)!

We've got a sanctuary city in Texas (that's fighting back hard against the new govt bullsh*t) and it's sunny as f*ck here.
