Meds that cause other issues.

Dr is now threatenening to not give me the med I need for the arthritis, unless I take the med for acid reflux, even though this drug cause osteoporosis.

@She Cat do you get tested (blood or urine) for the drug you believe the dr is forcing you to take? If not can't you just take the prescription and not fill it? Let the dr think you are taking but don't take it is that an option?

@FauxLiz Where I live everything is electronic, so she knows if I have filled them med or not as they are notified by the drugstore. So, I could just get it and FLUSH it down the toilet. The fish will never get acid reflux again. ( kidding) I would just throw it in the trash.

I decided to go back to my rheumatologist, even though my insurance won't cover the visit. I will have to pay out of pocket. I will deal with him about getting the Mobic for arthritis and my nurse practioner can go shit in her hat.

@She Cat I thought about suggesting that you fill it and not take it but I didn't want to suggest you throw money away on meds you won't take. Sorry about having to pay out of pocket for your rheumatologist but I am totally in favor of telling your nurse practitioner off there are a lot of medical supposed professionals I wish I would have told off.
