"If you want to live a happy life, tie it to goals, not people or things" -Albert Einstein.
This quote evoked mixed feelings in me at first. Then after thinking about it more, I found it to be true for me. People, like friends and family, and significant others, are variables in your life. People can be fun, kind, nice, and loving to you one day, and the next day they can be either gone or not what you thought they were, especially relative family. The only person that will always remain constant in your life is you, so in my opinion, your goals for yourself are what your happiness should depend on, not others.
Do you guys agree with this quote? Thanks.
