Uk Meet 2013!

Cath, as said, I can come somewhere. Someone just needs to figure out where I should come to and let me know. I haven't been to the UK... But I do have accommodation free in London so I could pay for the train/bus to somewhere.

Haven't booked yet (ticket) either because I wanted to wait up for whether you UK folks are good with the date.

Abstract, I can't "like" your post because I don't want it come across as liking that you feel guilty. There's no reason to! We are who we are, I have been learning that a lot lately, and there's nothing wrong with that. Maybe one day you'll feel comfortable meeting someone from here. A no now does not mean a no always. :)

@Abstract, take everything at your pace. Maybe one day you will be at a stage where we can meet. Until then, don't feel excuses are needed, we understand.

I'm flexible with dates and will do my best to make it - with my hubby at my side.

I totally agree with what the others said Abstract. Sometimes I can and sometimes I can't and that's how it is with PTSD.

Just booked my ticket so if all goes well, I'm going to get to London on 12 December and could meet on any day from 13 to 15 December. :)

The cheapest train fare I can find is £46.50!!!!

I can't afford that at the moment but will keep my eyes open nearer the time for any cheaper deals.

I searched midweek, if it is at a weekend it will be....wait for it...£152.60!!!:eek:

Cheaper with Virgin at £77.30 but still out of my price range!

:wideeyed: Ouch! If it's this expensive, I won't be able to go anywhere either. Taking the train is A LOT cheaper here!!! Especially when the tickets are bought this much in advance!
