What animals did you see today?

Lots of snails on the fence, they're always there when it's raining.

I saw a gorgeous 2 month old golden lab puppy today

I like animals, I think a lot of us here do. One of the little things that can take your mind off the uglies, for a little bit.

Thought I’d start a general thread, so, what was the last animal you saw? (Or heard)? Could be wildlife, local animals, or the pets in your house. Were they up to something? Everything is welcome, doesn’t have to be anything spectacular.
