I'm actually curious to see how that will work out Jar. I say that because I'm currently seeking employment with the DAV as a potential candidate for there OJT program. I actually have a meeting this morning with the vocational rehab counselor of mine. We will discuss the program and hopefully get something started. Wonder how I work my claims and also work next to the DAV national service officer who is working my claim. Any advantages to this, or disadvantages!?! Hmmm, can't really say how this will pan out guys!

Hope that works out well for you and you get the job. I'm sure the DAV has delt with the same situations in the past as many of the reps are combat wounded vets. Keep the faith.

Good luck Lex... stick with the DAV... I actually joined them just for the legal representation with claims and also work... my boss has a prob with me going to the VA so much... a whole nuther post..

anyone ever hear the term BOHICA? I saw it on a plaque over the door to one of the barracks at Ft Sam when I was in RT school... asked around and finally found the answer... it meant "Bend Over Here It Comes Again"
