<chuckling> In American English you just have to wave the word donut/doughnut in the general direction of the sign. Here, it’s weird for donut shops to sell anything but donuts and coffee.
My Faaaaaaaavorite :inlove: doughnut shop ISA a bit weird... they not only sell donuts & coffee, but also beer ...&... “voodoo” dolls with raspberry filling, :sneaky: & cock’n’balls (an eclair wih 2 Boston creams, custard filled, dipped in chocolate ganache, and occasionally suggestions written in frosting), maple bacon bars (I had to sign a waiver stating that I knew my vegan maple bar add bacon, was not, in fact, vegan. I’ve been attempting to sway hem to my way of thinking that bacon = unicorn meat = mythical creature = not real = vegan :woot: But they seem quite stubborn about it. Give me time. I’ll win them over eventually.).... AND... if you’re like me and buy a f*ckload of donuts all at once??? Hand made donut coffins to cart the lot home with you :smug: . I first found the place in Portland, but they’ve got a few in other states, now.
The ‘voodoo’ doll, ‘vegan’ maple bacon bar, cock’n’balls, & Boston cream / portland cream with 2 little eyes looking all cute and thrilled to meet you & be eaten? Are the best. Sadly, they’ve taken the risqué pics down off the website.
