What Did You Eat And Drink Last?

I'm taking back control over one of the only things I truly have control of - choosing what I put in my mouth to fuel my cell-ph with.

Convenience works against the bottom line of wanting to be healthy and feel well, within my own meat coated skeleton, as I've learned this past year or so. Being stuck in the ditches of grief and worry made it necessary for a while - but enough is enough.

I tend to wait until there's no option to improve my choices before making a change for the better, but now I'm trying to make those choices before it's urgently necessary. If I don't do it for me, no one else is gonna do it, so here I go.

Fingers crossed for consistency, continual garden abundance, continual accessibility to fresh produce, hopes of my $4.00 Jack LaLane thrift shop juicer continuing to work well, and an ongoing desire to give myself a chance to show me what I can quite tastily, creatively, and healthily do, again. May I never forget that I'm worth it.

Just finished sipping on juice made with almost a whole head of celery, 4 pink lady apples, a thumb-sized piece of ginger and half a head of local romaine lettuce. YUM! My re-introduction to juicing done with my favorite mix of fruit and veggies. Saved the pulp to make some crackers and some kind of sweet treat after while.

pleased for you @Tornadic Thoughts good for you :)

Had the most delicious pork w apples and gooseberries. Just delicious. And i think my taste buds must be coming back to life after quitting smoking again. Everything tastes fricking amazing.

Full English (ish) Breakfast
Egg, bacon, sausage, grilled tomato, bubble & squeak
Fake hash browns & Sucuk, new to me, delicjous spicy Turkish sausage.
Half for breakfast half for lunch

Lots of H20 upon rising.

I washed and prepped a dozen or more carrot sticks, half a head of local romaine, two big navel oranges, and a big knob of ginger for my break-fast juice.

Lunch was my favorite blender fare consisting of frozen bananas, flax milk, fresh spinach, collards, purslane, lettuce, broccoli microgreens, reishi/cacao/greens powders, chia/flax seed, and sunflower seed butter.

Just finished snacking on some celery sticks and sunflower seed butter while I contemplate dinner. I'm thinking, so far, perhaps little vegan zucchini pizzas (a good-sized zucchini sliced into about 1/4" slices, then topped with pizza sauce, vegan cheese, onion, bell peppers, shrooms, etc. and baked) and a salad.
