So. Many. Meatballs.

I’ve been working on a few different recipes, and methods, so TheFam was taste testing with me, all day. Because they were ALL wicked good, at this point it’s just nudging here and there for bestest most awesomest grammar breaking badass meatballs.

Today was focused on Italian style beef/pork & Italian sausage.

The winners are being frozen in bags for meatball subs & pasta.

Tomorrow is
El pollo loco! (Pineapple citrus)
Grilled Pineapple habanero (sweet & spicy!)
Lemongrass, ginger, zucchini (for chicken noodle soup, although I’m iffy on how well they’ll freeze, maybe cabbage might work better)

Had an egg roll contest. Compared Panda Express, Jack on the Box, and local Chinese Takeout. Panda won. The local restaurant had a spice I couldn’t recognize—star anise maybe? It was good but Panda had distinctly more ginger which was a welcome flavor to counter the oiliness. Panda also had the best tasting sauces. Jack in the Box was bland all around but had the most chicken flavor.

Also had cucumbers and a fortune cookie.

Today I had a bit of christmas baking from a friend. A piece of cheese. 2 gummy vitamins. I am not hungry at all.
