Ah ok :-) the pan in the first link we call a griddle pan. The rectangular thing I've not come across except when watching pioneer woman on telly. And maybe a but when I was looking into buying a cast iron skillet.
I'd heard grilled cheese sandwitches talked about in various media but never knew exactly what they were till seeing pioneer woman. They seem close to what we call a cheese toastie - which is made in its own kind of press called a sandwich toaster. Though I make my cheese toasties in a frying pan using a heavy pan to weigh it down cos my sandwich toaster is a bit shit.
I've seen on TV an old style japanese house that had a fire pit the middle of the floor. Also seen food cooked in a pot in a dining table (sukiyaki) but not seen tables with built in bbq.
Went with my Dad to a place where a chef cooked everything in the middle off the table but my memory is atrocious. Think it were Vietnamese maybe.
Anyhow. Had same breakfast as yesterday and for lunch made spicy coated chicken nuggets and oven baked em had em with green salad with red grapes and Turkish red cabbage salad
And a pear
And had a packet of bacon fries earlie too (like crack)
