Last night. Chinese. Pancake roll, chicken in black bean sauce, egg fried rice and prawn toast.

Haddock & cheddar fishcake, small amount chunky chips, large salad - spinach, rocket, red cabbage, baby pkum tomatoes, halved red grapes, cucumber, celery, vinaigrette

Breakfast was spinach gözleme, first time having it, is delicious, like a fried stuffed thin flatbread thing. Got it from local cafe.

During the 1849 California gold rush eggs were $1 each ($34 // 25£ adjusted for inflation) so a helluva lotta traditional egg recipes were altered to stuffed pepper recipes, or to be BBQ’d, or smoked, or both (instead of fried). Scotch Eggs to Armadillo Eggs is one of my faves.

Last night I made oven baked BBQ chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli with cheese sauce. Water.

Meds, a banana muffin and a Mt. Dew this morning.

Pinto beans, cornbread with fried lettuce and onions. We make the lettuce by pouring hot bacon grease over it. Amazingly, the lettuce does not wilt and it can keep til the next day.
