What Have You Accomplished Lately?

I got my snow bound car out of it's igloo and mailed the precious (coughs) government their taxes. :notworthy:

But my happy acomplishment...I got my winter slippers finally and my toes are toasty! Although:cautious: it is now very close to Spring:banghead:.

And my dark secret delight today ( I went and ate a Big Mac) to celebrate! Shhh don't tell the health nuts here.:clown: I eat one every year to make my inner kid happy.

I have gone three or so days off my meds in preparation for some tests being done. I feel miserable, but only one more day! Then the tests and I will be able to go back on the meds. I got this.

Still going through my clothes and choosing which ones to keep or toss.

This brings up not too good memories for me as that is what my mother and I did together. If I would go to see my mother, we went shopping. That was it. Nothing else.

So I will work through those old memories and do what I need to do to take care of these feelings.

Picked up an extra shift (yeah after being ill, with back pain and a migraine)... nothing like a challenge eh? (and I need the money)

I finally cleaned my flat. It looked not right and not wrong ("net muh, net mäh" as we say in German or rather in Swabian)...and I went for a short run outside.

I also accomplished to call my tutor today so we could talk about my thesis because we had rather different things in mind....I have to throw my whole concept overboard, but I know how she wants me to write it. ...even if it's not what I imagined my thesis to be. :meh:

Today, I accomplished being a grump. Instead of being depressed or in rage...I was just a sourpuss with a twinkle in my eye. No matter what I attempted to do...my inner grump just wouldn't go away. So I looked in the mirror crowned myself Queen Sourpuss and am still waiting for my laughter to dis-throne my attitude.

So...who is next in line for the crown?:clown:

Mission accomplished.

I was able to go through my winter clothes and now have that sense of peace that I didn't have before I started this project. I do have a pile to take to Goodwill and need to do that, instead of hanging on to them.

Maybe it has to do with the time change too, and thinking about Spring is almost here.

I made decisions. I am feeling competent and capable and an author of my own destiny.

I've sorted out loads of stuff I'm not moving with and donated it to a homeless charity. Nipped in their shop yesterday, they seem to have sold quite a bit already so at least someone is benefitting from my clutter.

I made it all day without lying down once! Lately it has been a couple of times a day. This is a great thing. Of course I had what I call a sleep day yesterday. But I slept better(with the help of meds) then I have in days, last night. I like not feeling like I need to lie down. It is a great feeling.

I treated myself bigtime today.

I got the insurance for a year that I was with before.

I got a storage locker for our stuff when we have to move out.
