Get a fasting blood test. I hate being hungry like this and I still have probably an hour and half to 2 hours to wait until I can eat. I just hope it doe snot show high cholesterol. I ate some bacon last night, not thinking about the fact that it might mess with the results! Next thing I know, if it did, Doc will want to put me on some drug. I take too many of those already!

Trust someone else to be my secondary financial Power of Attorney after the person I had chosen apparently stole $80 cash from me. I think they planned to return it secretly (I think they stole it when I was in the hospital, and then planned to return it secretly in the middle of the night, but I discovered it before they had a chance to do so).

Better to get someone I can trust to respect my financial situation 100% rather than someone who might turn out to be untrustworthy! This person is my secondary financial POA, but still, I need to be able to trust them with access to my cash, checks and home. I need to be able to trust them 100%, which certainly I could not do with this original person!!!

I know what it's like to have money stolen from a person you thought you could trust. In our case (my wife was alive then) it was her sons partner who stole from us.

Not just once, but twice, a year later after, we relented and allowed her back in the house again!
