What Did You Eat And Drink Last?

Looked up Asiago Cheese @VioletButterfly sounds good and it's something I had never heard of :-)

For Dinner had similar to yesterday ~
Roast Chicken Leg
Onion Bhaji
Salad - Spinach, Beetroot, Cherry toms, Cucumber, Red Onion, Grapes, Basil Oil.
Camomile Tea

Feeling a bit peckish but it's bed time

3rd worst coffee on the planet.
2nd being decaf.
1st being none.

So it could definitely be worse. But this is very nearly ArthurDent "not quite exactly unlike tea" version of "coffee" :wtf: Really. It is spectacularly awful. Pinch your nose & gulp gulp. Shudder.

***

Half a gyro & more could-be-worse coffee

Yesterday's menu/fuel:

Break-fast was lots of lemon water and a whole lot of carrot/orange juice with some wheatgrass.

Snack was a couple red pears.

Lunch was a hefty baked red potato topped with vegan butter, sea salt, white pepper, turmeric, chives, and nutritional yeast and some leftover sauteed greens and garlic.

Dinner was gluten-free brown rice spaghetti noodles and store bought organic marinara sauce I scored while it was on sale with added black beans and roasted cherry tomatoes served with a salad made with local chopped spinach, chopped wild plantains from our back yard, celery, carrots, red onion, chick peas, and papaya poppy seed dressing.

Drank lots of water in between while playing and working outside.

Today will be more of a liquid diet, until dinner time, to give the innards a break, to include lemon water, herbal sun tea, juices, and maybe a smoothie.

@Tornadic Thoughts - I scored some organic gluten free pasta from lentils. Ha...

Nice. Some of the textures are a bit strange getting used to, and some of the ones made from veggies lose their color once you boil them, which sucks, but so far, I've enjoyed the variety we've tried taste-wise.

I also picked up one of those spiral slicers at bed, bath, and beyond when it was on sale and often make zoodles, coodles, etc. from zucchini, carrots, cucumbers, etc. Don't have to cook and drain anything. Bonus! But I did learn to drain and dry them as best I can before serving, most especially the cukes, as they become quite runny after sitting with warm sauce on them.
