Stickler, so sorry that happened to you and W. I can't imagine the amount of endurance and bravery it took/is taking to face up to that kind of cruelty and torture, and especially by the hands of your own father. My heart breaks for you both. I hope W finds the same strength as you have and that you both can find peace. I think you reaching out to W is admirable, and hope along with you that he comes around. But if W never comes around, you have to make sure that you move on and put yourself in the position to get everything good that you deserve and never got. At least that will add one more person to the happiness pool. My thoughts and good wishes are with you.
