Well I'm a bit frazzled tonight and can't settle down. I woke up from a nap around 4pm today. I checked my phone and there were three messages from three message group chats I'm in saying avoid going to the mall there is an active shooter. Thankfully no one I knew was at the mall. Two people were shot and one died :( The shooter is still on the loose and could be anywhere. I only live 8 minutes from the mall. There is a huge it will never happen here mentality in this town and now it's happened. Can't go anywhere and feel safe anymore. I just spent the last hour cleaning my laundry room to try to distract myself.
