That advent calendar sounds amazing! Hmmmm I might have to draw the line at fruit tea... not sure if that's one step too far for me

... Though one of my fav teas is orange and star anise (posh right!?)... Bubble tea is definitely a win! Love it...
Really!! Do you find that fruit teas just end up tasting like watery fruit? Bitter?
I don’t think I’ve ever had orange and star anise. I’ll have to keep an eye out for that. One of my favourites is a christmas tea - cinnamon, spearmint, orange, vanilla, and a hint of cloves. I‘ve honestly been surprised how many people do not like it. For whatever reasons I sort of thought it was going to be universally liked, but I guess not. It might be the cloves. I know it’s one of those flavours that people can have strong feelings about, along with fennel, licorice and I suppose also, star anise.
Do you have a go-to when it comes to bubble tea?
With you on this too!!! Feel free to send a pic of your latte art when you feel it's up to scratch. Can guarantee it will be far better than mine
Weeeeeellllllllll……. at the very least, you will have tons of practice time. Because at this rate, we will be waiting quite a while!
Sounds like you're getting on top of this though so

.. yes I do have experience...I work in a job which involves helping others so I have to put that emotional boundary down by really thinking through the degree tu which I should go tu help and also checking the clock before I open something up...ie if I don't have time for it to unfold that day - don't open it up. Something which has worked for as well (? if useful) is writing a list for the next day about all the things I didn't manage tu address that day so they don't circulate as much in my head over night... glad you like what you do.. that's awesome
It has definitely improved! Apparently, progress isn’t linear. :)
I see - somehow it doesn’t surprise me that you work in a job that involves helping others.. I think you’ve mastered the mirroring and support and compassion!
I feel like emotional boundaries can sometimes be a bit of a dance to place and hold? Although it sounds like you’ve found some ways to help manage it for yourself and those you assist - no small feat! Do you enjoy what you do? (No need to answer this if you would prefer not to!)
Actually sounds like an excellent pandemic series choice...
One of my friends has come up with a term for when you just want to lay in bed in the dark under the covers: bed-hiding (edit - well, maybe someone else came up with it and I’ve just first heard it from her). I think it’s a good series for that, too.
Have a good night sleep

. Thanks so much for sitting with me. Can't tell you how supportive that's been for me. Please don't feel the need to reply - you've taken so much time out already. Have a good day at work tomorrow and get a good tea or coffee for your meeting!
Thank you. I hope you got some rest, as well. How is the pain doing, today/tonight?
And of course, anytime! It was my pleasure - brightened my mood as well.
