Yeah, I understand. It's tough. I don't understand why the court didn't allocate you any visitation rights.

Been there. Didn’t give up. Be strong and persistent when the odds are against you. Especially if the kids will be better off with you.
I came home after a 10 hour shift in Anchorage Alaska to find an empty home. After calling everyone we knew and issuing an APB my best friend called and said his wife told him that my wife said I’d be sorry. We checked the airport and a woman with 2 children (ages 3 and 4) left for Norfolk VA. I was devastated. We argued a lot but I didn’t expect this. She took the kids to her parents house in Nags Head, NC. Her mother was neurotic and father an alcoholic. Not only did I need my kids I knew they needed out of yhat environment.
I got a petition for temporary custody and took a weeks leave to go there and get them. The sheriff took me to the judge. The judge said “Yes by law we have to allow it but nothing says when”. I only had 3 more days. That night I saw a deputy that knew me when I was a detective in VA Beach. I showed the papers and he served them not knowing the sheriff and judge objected. I feel bad he got in trouble but I was desperate.
I battled in court for 9 months with thousands of dollars in both our attorney fees. She had no job and lived with a friend. She wouldn’t use her visitation rights and finally admitted in court she didn’t want the children but wanted her parents to have them. The court have me custody and I had to pay her support for 6 monthe. I paid for a year until she remarried and moved to Seattle.
The courts strongly favor the mother over the father. I raised the boys as a single parent for 10 years before I remarried. I did the right thing by staying strong and persistent.

The Insurance Company is so stressful it is effecting my sleep and I am emotionally dysregulated. I have been having panic attacks at night and during the day.
I did my best and now ripped off or not. I did my best. And that is good enough. I don't know how their system works and they clearly have no idea if the contractors/tradies can do the job or not. It very poor. Their behaviour is incredibly poor.
Even B said to me that the bullying has been too much.
So one tradie was aggressively denying that he had plastered over the phone line. Whilst the phone connection was near his foot and the connection had been there for 25+ years.
I put in a complaint about him and the phone socket and they sent him back and he put the holes for the hot water system in the wrong place.
Another guy came out and photographed the tree root ball and cropped out in his report that the picket fence is coming out at 90 degree angle. And then Aaron said that the tree was two metres from the fence.
One of the women said that the 25 metre gum tree was normal house hold maintenance. What I should run out of the house and hold it up whilst the storm takes?
Where the house next door burnt down there is a burnt down there are huge branches in the tree. This was also normal maintenance. So what folks levitate 15 metres off the ground?
One assessor came and told us our house hold contents weren't covered from Cyclone Alfred and the intense smoke damage. So we got 3 skips six cubic metres. Not a couch or a bed left. Then the woman on the phone said if we had taken photos of what we threw out they would have replaced it.
One woman on the phone was such a bully of B hasn't managed it I would have frozen with overwhelm.
An assessor comes out and the hot water system and the old antique pool water purifier needs to be removed for the plasterer. So the plumber came out and removed the water heater and says he can't remove the water purifier like we are asking for more than our share. So the plasterer comes out and has a hissey fit. Then another plumber came out and removed the air purifier. Then the plasterer who plastered over the phone line comes out again. He deliberately put the holes in the wrong place. The 25 year old holes were easy to see. Or he just doesn't know how to do the work.
The mould people came set up plastic tents to contain the Black mould. Put the air scrubbers bit didn't check in on it every two days and left a bag with old the removed mould open so they were just spreading the mould.
I was sleeping outside in the car. One assessor said to the other assessor will they have been living with the mould so we don't need to do anything about the smoke damage.
It's been rip off city.
The underlying aggressive treatment and bullying have been challenging.
The success for me is that I didn't go into major collapse. I didn't freeze. Given how hard it has been, living in a house, a hotel and two different caravans. I stood I up for my rights and the rights of others, politely put forward our demands and requests.
The go slow approach is apparently South East Queensland wide. So many folks don't even have basic mould mediation. So really at least something is happening here.
I have three university degrees and I did a lot of advocacy and activism. I hate to think how much they are ripping off other more vulnerable people. I was chosen to represent my university in leadership. Holy cow I have barely been able to manage at times.

Another hearing tomorrow. I'm going weapons free and telling them about all her diagnosed mental problems, her undiagnosed but pretty obvious Narcissistic Personality Disorder and things like her previous trouble with the law for allegedly threatening to beat a kid at our kids' school etc. etc.
I'm aiming to leave a smoking hole in the ground where her credibility was.
In other news, I delivered the Reciprocal Pocket Cheese and my commissar hat for Comic Con arrived.
