Quite hot here today.

The SNOW has arrived. H drove me to work this morning as he was going to take the dogs for a long walk. But, best laid plans. The roads are treacherous, I don't think we have had a gritter so the cars etc are struggling on the hills.

I have brought my boots to work and will walk home later. It is set to get worse as the snow is still falling.

We are a tad pathetic in England, a few inches of snow and the country grinds to a halt.

It was so hot here today that people left the beach and went home. I was entertained.

It was 46 degrees celsius today.

SNOWING!!! We are at the top of the moors and the roads are covered. Yet my school is still open. The only one in the area that is (really annoying). Will have to wait and see what happens.

The schools here which didn't close are closing at lunchtime.

It is still snowing here. I will feel like the yeti walking home. ummmm, hot chocolate sounds good.

I work in community transport and I've spent my morning cancelling journeys, thankfully, most passengers understand.

Not started snowing heavy here yet, but I have been out and bought extra milk and bread, have plenty of food in stock.

So if it gets as bad as they say it might, we can batten down the hatches and stay where its warm.

I went out early to get the weekly shopping in and was glad I did. It was snowing but not as bad as it is now, my poor H is driving his ambulance until 8pm tonight.

School shut. Some of the roads are clear now the snow plough/gritter has been round, but driving home was scary. Some idiot didn't have their dog on their lead and it chose my car to run in front of. It's fine, but I really do not like skidding to an emergency stop in this! :eek:

Ah yes, the snow has arrived, and good old GB grinds to halt. Apparently many roads are impassable, and snow ploughs are on standby! Hmm, I wonder if using those snow ploughs on said roads might help?

All the local schools are closed, so parents can't go to work, because they have to look after their kids.

For once the weather forecasters got it right! We were told there would be snow, all the 'authorities' were apparently prepared for snow, yet roads are closed, schools are closed, the trains and buses are suspended so no one can get to work. It's a poor state of affairs!

All we have is the light covering from yesterday.

It's up to 17 degrees F today. we might get more snow if we are not careful.
