WOW! I had no clue. I guess I have mis-information. I did work out a payment plan with the Hospital in my area, and another payment plan with a collections agency for a hospital some ways from here. I don't know what would have happened if I did not work out these payment plans. I just keep paying and no one even calls me. They just send me bills with the minimum payment due on them each month and I pay those payments and all is going well. So far anyway, and it has been over a year in each case that I have been paying these minimum payments.
