Constantly. I couldn't remember anything without them. Well, I could remember to wake up and get dressed in the morning, but that's about it.

I have three separate lists going right now. One is short term (what I have to do today), one is longer term (this week and next week, like paying bills and going shopping) and one is big projects I have to accomplish, like get a light fixture replaced. I wouldn't get anything done on time without these to help me compensate for my memory issues.

Me too I have three lists and the same topics on them.

So I'm not completely losing my mind lol! I make lists, and when I'm not making a list, I'm marking everything on the calendar or putting it on post-it notes. Yet I still manage to double book myself.

Yes, incessantly.

It gives me a sense of accomplishment as I can't work, don't go to school...

But today I haven't done a damn thing...nothing crossed off the list!

I make lists of everything. Shopping lists, to do lists, bills due lists, dog needs , you name it I have it on a piece of paper.

I find myself unable to remember what I am in need of and what I need to do if I didn't write it down.

I come and go with making lists but when I really need to focus they are my best friend. Not only do I make lists but I make a time plan as well. Comes from my old home economics days at school and teacher's college. You know, sort of how you write out a recipe step by step, or plan a meal so as to have all the seperate elements ready at the same time for dishing up. It does give a great sense of achievement when I am successful but i don't beat myself up if it doesn't quite work out.

My lists help me to keep things running smoothly. I keep a tablet with multi lists in it. Grocery list on one page, blood sugar list on another page, things I need to get when I can on another page. things that lift my spirits on another page. I cross things off as they are accomplished, but I keep that notebook going until I run out of pages, then I start a new notebook.

I keep shopping lists, to do lists, etc in my phone. My memory is so bad that in the time I go from one side of the store to the other I forget what I was looking for so the lists save me. I also keep a digital and a paper calendar.

Yes, I forget everything! Practically have to tie a ribbon on my finger since having PTSD. Even the coping skills. The ones I like the most, I keep a small list in my back pocket.

I make a To-Do-List every Thursday, which is the day I can get a ride to the Grocery and pick up my meds at the Drug Store. I write on it my grocery list and also the places that I need to go, like the Post Office, the Bank and so on. Sometimes I still forget something or I forget to put it on my list, but at least I get the most of what I need to do, done!
