General Hubby Now Has Something To Aim For.

It has taken a while but we have finally had a good quote for a garage to be built.

This will be done at the end of February and mean that hubby has something to aim for and to help him get more on his feet than he is at the moment.

It means he will be able to restore old motorbikes and sell them on, which he has wanted to do for ages.

It may start off as a hobby to get his mind working properly again, but will end up making himself some money.

There are a few things that have to be done before it is built, like cut back my wonderful conifers, I refuse to let him have them cut down.

I am hoping this will be the making of him now, even if I am loosing almost half of my back garden.

That sounds great for your husband Amethist. Sorry it comes at a price to you, losing part of your garden. It will all be worth it though.

What a great opportunity Amethist! It is great that it is something he enjoys - and extra money never hurt!! It really is important to have something constructive to do to get us back on track.

Hmmm maybe he can come up with a creative way to keep the conifers????

The conifers are staying, just being cut back at the bottom. :D

Congratulations on your new endeavor. I hope this works out very well for the both of you. I am glad you get to keep your conifers. Sorry you are losing half of your garden. Mabe you could do potting gardening. Good for you guys.

...as for your garden maybe this can be an opportunity for a make over?

A make over is what is going to happen.

A thin base being laid to put the shed on so we can use the base it is on now for a barbecue area. Fencing put round that, and pots with flowers placed in the right places.
