I'd go back in time and do my children's childhoods all over again. I know I could do better.

Eating sushi.
In the arms of a lover.
Swimming in a pool at dawn.
Swimming in the ocean.
Sitting around a bonfire, under starlight.
Cinching a saddle.
Flying on a trapeze.
Kissing the head of a child.
Curled up next to a fireplace, with a good book.
Standing under the hot running water of shower.
Laying down in a 3” deep creek, taking a horizontal “shower”, on a hot day.
Snugging my cheek up to the stock of a rifle.
Misusing glitter.


AKA whilst feeling INCREDIBLY grateful that I HAVE these -and other- places I would rather be? It also means I’m not appreciating where I am. Right here. Right now. Which will undoubtedly be a place I’d rather be, sometime in the future. Life’s funny like that.
