I have now installed a weekly digest that will be automatically sent to members who have been active in the past 30 days. The digest is sent every Saturday, once per week, and contains the top 20 public discussions in the last week.
As many don't cross forum subjects here, this may broaden members interest in other areas by having such threads sent to you, allowing you instant access to the top viewed content across all forums for the past week.
This will give different results from the trending page, that uses different factors.
It has an opt-out link upon it, it respects those who have already unchecked such options in their account settings, won't send to banned members, so forth. Each member controls whether they receive it, or not, and it only sends to members who have been active in the last 30 days, no further.
