What Are Some Of The Things You Do When You Are Feeling Happy?

Just being honest... Right now when I'm happy I struggle with ideation. Because it reminds me of how I used to be, and the contrast between then and now is too stark.

Vexing, right? Not the first time it's been like this, though. As I get consistently more happy that effect goes away. Like most of this stuff, it's all about waiting it out. Everything is temporary.

I hum without thinking about humming or trying to hum, it just comes automatically.

I smile at folks.

I play Scrabble with myself (I live alone).

I'm usually happy when I am with friends and we often go out to eat, I love that. I am a bit overweight, so I have to watch my calories when I go out now, because I am on a diet. That puts a real damper on my happy, unless I forget that I am on a diet, which I did today (and overate) but I was happy!

I am happy to lay back in my recliner and read a book, like biographies are the best books and make me the happiest I think. I love reading about the real lives of real people. That usually makes me happy, even if it is a sad story to some degree, because after all, don't we all suffer sadness in our lives too? If we were only happy, we'd have nothing to compare it to and then would we really know we were happy?

I am happy when I get a hand written letter from someone. I'll read it again later, just to make sure I got all of it.

I like to go out for walks sometimes and look at the mountains I live nearby. They are so majestic! If I am not happy, I don't get motivated to go out for walks I think.

I like to play solitaire when I am alert and happy, because that is when I win!
 
Yes, sometimes I do clean my room out of happiness.
Clean my room?:) If I did, I wouldn't be able to find things because the pile it was will no longer be there and I won't remember where I put it.:D

When I am happy, I become a bit of a jokester and prankster. I like to give people a hard time but in a playful sort of way meant to bring a smile to their face and laughter into their hearts. I want them to share in my happiness.

If I'm alone, I'll get out one of my guitars and learn or write a new song or perhaps compose some new music with my MIDI software.
 
I watch nature. And then talk at it. Telling it it's goddamn beautiful and I'm really happy to share the space.

Also dance. I realized I don't know how to say 'I also dance when I grieve', but it's a different kind of the same feeling; happiness once upon a time, I've known these people, and we'll meet again.

& plan death. Better go while everything's peaceful and shiny, right? The internal sense of balance usually curbs it fast.
