Can we have a second go? I am!
I'm proud that I baked last night, couldn't sleep, so I did something I've put off for a while, I love cooking but haven't had the inclinaton to be bothered. So now I've got big jars full of Anzac biscuits, double choc chip and spice cookies, I've got 3 different sorts of slices and several fruit cakes. Some is going to the nursing home my hubby works at later today. I'm Proud! Better still I'm having a good day.

I feel proud that I'm alive today, despite him.

I feel proud to identify myself as an artist.
I feel proud that, although I'm not "well", I'm better.
I feel proud that I no longer need to hide.
I feel proud to educate the ignorant about mental and emotional conditions through my speaking to various groups.
I feel proud that when I look in a mirror now, I see my face- not my father's.
I feel proud to have come so far and for starting so early. (age 19)
I feel proud that I feel no shame whatsoever about what happened to me.
I feel proud that I can speak- loudly, if necessary- for myself and for those of us who cannot yet do this.
I feel proud of my creativity.
I feel proud that I was able to hold onto a precious piece (somehow) of wonder that remains untainted by my experience.
And, like so many others have said, I feel proud to have made it through today with gratitude.

I am proud i did this because i could have just accepted this, this pain and than hiding behind pain killers at times, kowing it is hindering my PTSD...I found a way to stop the meds, be pain free and stop being addicted....not by choice.....but I am afraid of the withdrawal coming in december or January. At least it is happening..I am going to beat this..rhis damn addiction but I like the euphoria...males my life not so real at times...not all the time.

I am proud that my son was able to verbalize his feelings about a bully at school...originally walking in crying and i said...NO...Not healthy and Mommy heeds you to tell her what happened. He did.....and he tried so hard, he is thinking better, things are making sense, his decisions are better, he is FEELING...not that I want to see him hurt......I was glad he sat and opened up to me saying...i heard your voice MOM..donèt let whant someone says hurt you, especially another special needs child (poor impulse contol) this other child suffers from but Devon felt it..I am proud that he vocalizwd the situation and did not hold it in.
